San Ysidro Day is a traditional celebration in New Mexico for hundreds of years where the acequias, farmlands, and tools are blessed. The South Valley celebration starts with a procession led by Azteca dancers at the corner of Isleta & Arenal SW and goes to Sanchez Farm Open Space for the blessings of the acequia and farm. Following the celebration, there is a traditional mantanza to benefit the South Valley Regional Association of Acequias.
