Los Ranchos Winter Growers' Market
THIS WEEK AT MARKET: April 14th, 10 am - 12 pm, 6718 Rio Grande Blvd Last winter market! Inclement weather: Market will be held outdoors in the regular location, tennis court parking lot, except in the case of inclement weather when the market will be held in the adjacent community barn. Swing into Spring: Great selection at market: Greens, plant starts, fresh flowers, and flowering plants; Music by Valley High School keyboardist Adam Which came first, the chicken or the egg? At the market you'll have a great selection of chicken, duck and goose eggs - all different sizes, and colors. Horsemen's Feed 2nd street, will have a new humic product, Huma Soil Life by Enchantment Organics - great additive for your garden. Affordable Solar will be on hand to answer your questions. Voter Registration: for those that have not registered to vote, volunteers will be on hand to register you Market tables feature fresh, local produce and products - garlic, fresh herbs, radishes, jerusalem artichokes, root veggies such as carrots, salad turnips, edible flowers, arugula, cress, chard, spinach, assorted greens, assorted micro greens jams/jellies, various breads and pastries, pasta and sauces, honey, eggs, galettes, scones, biscotti, tartlets, mini-quiche, home-made granola, pesto, soup to go, caponata, and more. plant starts/seedlings, fresh flowers, flowering plants, herb plants, house plants, dried herbs, culinary herbal mixes, fresh herbs burritos, pastries, & hot posole, and more! Arts and Crafters feature creative and unique gifts including: Colorful yard art made from recycled materials: bird houses, walking canes, wind chimes, benches, steel flowers. Wide variety of jewelry, spa soaps, lotions and candles. Original T-shirts, women and little girl clothing, handbags; scarves that are knitted, tie-dyed or embroidered. Traditional tin work, decorative and functional pottery, tiles, carved gourds, stained glass, watercolors, mosaic tables. Fabric projects and work done with wool felt. Greeting cards, origami, detailed paper-cuts; all handmade by NM artists. Market regular season begins Sat.
