Advertising / Promotional Grants
Advertising/Promotional Grants: These grants can be used for any kind of promotion, outreach and marketing. Funds for this program come from the New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA) and the New Mexico Economic Development Department. This funding is not competitive, but strict adherence to guidelines for logo usage is mandatory.Grant Size: A base of $300 is available, with subsequent funding dependent upon the peak number of farmers.
Eligibility: To be eligible for Advertising/Promotional Grants, markets must:
- Be a member in good standing of the New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association, including paying dues, providing annual information about your market (day, time, location and contact), and providing annual market data.
- Complete and submit the "Estimating your Promotional Dollars" on-line form
- Make a marketing plan and send by email to dmiller@famersmarketsnm.org or by mail to NMFMA, 320 Aztec St., Ste. B, Santa Fe, NM 87501
- Comply with the required logos as shown on "How to Get Reimbursed for Promotional Expenses"
- Comply with procedures showing invoice, proof of payment and tear sheets or other proof of expenditures with logos as detailed in "How to Get Reimbursed for Promotional Expenses" information.
