About Headings:

These heading styles (font, size, color, style) are defined universally in our website’s cascading style sheet (or CSS for short). While they do apply a different look and feel for text, their true purpose is to define a semantic structure or hierarchy to your page’s content to inform both search engines and users about the information you’re publishing. Search engines use these headers to rank content on your site, basically in importance from highest importance (H1) to least highest important (H6).

Let’s Get Fancy

Beyond the basics for stellar page stylings!

  • Unordered lists can be fun
  • Dynamic
  • Animated
  • Use more than boring bullets
  • Inspire
  • Engage!

The two columns above use the Fancy Unordered List block. Each block can use a different bullet and be animated with a programmable delay. Additionally, this is an example of breaking our layout into two columns of equal width. You’ll see more column examples below.

Above, you’ll find a Recent Posts block, which has been set to display as a slider containing the five most recent posts from the “News” category of posts. There are other ways to display posts from other categories using this same block.

NMFMA inspires me everyday to find the best places to shop locally, either in my hometown or when I'm travelling throughout New Mexico.

Scott Knauer

I couldn't have done it without NMFMA. I take two every morning before breakfast and my friends always mention the new spring in my step!

Here is a Testimonials Slider block, which comes with entirely different parameters to tinker with.

Interactive Pie Chart

Here is a Pie Chart block, because why not?! This would be great for interactive pages that animate, like a living infographic. Cool, right?

Three columns in a page layout is just the beginning.

Video Content with Gradient Headers

The block above is a Video Player block that you can use to easily embed YouTube or Vimeo links right in your page. You can change the aspect ratio of the container to best fit the content (does not work well with vertical video in 9:16 aspect ratio like above).

I am a Flip Box!
As you can see, I can reveal more content on the back of the flip box. Genius!
Flip Box: The Sequel!

I am text block. Click edit button to change this text. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

The block above is a Page Submenu block that lets us build out link lists to things like pages on our site or even external links. It’s great for horizontal menus like this one.
