This month there are three Shop & Taste events happening around New Mexico. These events are a great way to learn more about how to prepare local food-inspired meals. If you’re in Abiquiu, Socorro, or Sunland Park, stop by a Shop & Taste event during New Mexico Fresh Local Month! 

Farmers’ Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing

Shop the market, then watch as Chef Morales and Chef Navarro from the EPCC Culinary Arts Program create an easy, delicious meal using ingredients found right here at the market. This special event wraps up National Farmers Market Week and kicks off New Mexico Fresh Local Month—come celebrate local food, local farmers, and the joy of cooking fresh!

Socorro Farmers Market is welcoming a local kitchen to prepare and cook fresh food for their community! The ingredients will come directly from market vendors and all samples are free of charge. Recipes will be provided for the sampled food, and community members are encouraged to mingle with vendors and take home some of the products to enjoy.
