Double Up Food Bucks: Triple your SNAP dollars with Double Up Food Bucks and Bonus Bucks!

By May 4, 2026News

This summer, when you use your SNAP-EBT card at participating farmers’ markets and select farm stands, you can get even more FREE fruits and vegetables.

Bonus Bucks work with Double Up Food Bucks in the same way. They can be spent on locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Bonus Bucks are a limited time offer and are good through August 31, 2026, or until funds run out, so be sure to jump on this offer this summer.

How it works

What are Bonus Bucks?

  • Bonus Bucks are extra dollars you can receive when you use your SNAP-EBT card at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands. They work just like Double Up Food Bucks and can be spent on fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • EXAMPLE: Spend $10 in SNAP and receive $10 in Double Up Food Bucks PLUS $10 in Bonus Bucks. That’s $20 of FREE locally grown fruits and vegetables!
  • Anyone who receives SNAP can use both benefits instantly. No sign up needed.

What’s the difference between Bonus Bucks and Double Up Food Bucks?

  • Double Up Food Bucks and Bonus Bucks spend the same on locally grown fruits and vegetables.
  • Bonus Bucks are available for a limited time and EXPIRE on August 31st or while funds last.
  • Double Up Food Bucks tokens do not expire.

For details on how Bonus Bucks work at farmers’ markets, farm stands and mobile markets head to the Double Up Food Bucks website linked below. Unfortunately, Bonus Bucks are not available at CSAs or grocery stores. You can still use Double Up Food Bucks at your local participating CSA or grocery store.
